Slave Lake Pulp Operations
Our Slave Lake pulp mill produces 275,000 ADMT of hardwood pulp annually and is supported by an annual timber allocation of approximately 600,000 m³ of deciduous fibre. The facility plays an important role in supplying high-quality pulp products to customers around the world.
Slave Lake Pulp Woodlands is responsible for the stewardship and sustainable management of a the FMA9000028 area within the Lesser Slave Lake region. Working collaboratively with Indigenous Communities, government, stakeholders, and other forest companies, the Woodlands team develops and implements long-term Forest Management Plans that balance ecological, cultural, social, and economic values across the landscape.
Forest management planning helps ensure that harvesting remains within the government-established Annual Allowable Cut (AAC), supporting a sustainable fibre supply while maintaining healthy forests for future generations. Through careful planning, monitoring, and adaptive management, Slave Lake Pulp Woodlands works to protect biodiversity, wildlife habitat, water resources, and opportunities for traditional land use.
The Woodlands operation is independently certified to the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI®) Forest Management Standard and Fibre Sourcing Standard, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable forest management, continual improvement, environmental stewardship, and meaningful engagement with Indigenous communities and stakeholders. By looking up to 200 years into the future, Forest Management Plans help ensure that the forest continues to provide environmental, cultural, recreational, and economic benefits for generations to come.

Quesnel River Pulp Operations
Located in Quesnel, British Columbia, our Quesnel River pulp mill produces 375,000 ADMT of softwood pulp annually. The mill is strategically located in one of British Columbia’s key forestry regions and supplies premium pulp products to domestic and international markets.
Our pulp mills are certified to the ISO 9000 standard for quality management and the ISO 14001 standard for environmental management.
Our mills are supplied with fibre through sustainable forestry practices and long-term fibre supply agreements. Fibre is certified under the PEFC (KPMG-PEFC-COC-2599-02), and the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) National Forest Stewardship Standard of Canada (FSC® C008999) chain of custody standards, and is sourced from forests certified under the
SFI Sustainable Forest Management Standard.
