Millar Western operates a 350,000 tonnes/year bleached chemi-thermomechanical pulp (BCTMP) mill and green energy facility in Whitecourt, Alberta. We produce 25 grades of hardwood and softwood pulps, tailored to individual end uses. Multiple stages of impregnation and variable refiner and screen configurations offer exceptional flexibility in meeting customer needs. Millar Western led the way in expanding the role of BCTMP in global papermaking, and we continue our advances in high-yield pulp production and environmental control technologies.
