Whitecourt Multi-Use Facility named after Allan and Jean Millar.
At a ceremony held September 6, 2007, Town of Whitecourt Mayor Trevor Thain and Woodlands County Mayor Jim Rennie announced the name of the $26 million multi-use recreational facility now under construction in Whitecourt. Scheduled for opening in Spring 2008, the $26 million facility has been named the Allan and Jean Millar Centre, in honour of the couple’s many contributions to community betterment during their more than 60 years as residents.
