Millar Western’s Environmental Advisory Committee hosts a public information session.
http://www.albertaforestproducts.ca Millar Western Forest Products Ltd.’s citizen-run Environmental Advisory Committee is hosting a public information session September 14, 2004 at the Whitecourt Forest Interpretive Centre. Featured guest speaker at the presentation is Mr. Neil Shelly, Executive Director of the Alberta Forest Products Association. Mr. Shelly will discuss the AFPA’s mandate and some of the current issues facing the forest products industry and the communities it supports.
The public is invited to attend this information session, running 7 pm to 9 pm to learn more about the third largest manufacturing industry in Alberta, the challenges it faces and the advances it’s made.
