Millar Western participates in major forest industry promotional initiative
Millar Western has joined with a number of Alberta forest industry partners, including the AFPA, Canfor, Tolko and West Fraser, to promote awareness of sustainable forest management efforts as well as the oportunity for exciting careers in our industry. Led by Weyerhaeuser and funded largely through the Forest Resource Improvement Association of Alberta (FRIAA), the initiative features a website, educational materials for classrooms, television and movie theatre commercials, and print advertisements. The website, yourforest.org, is currently under development but intended, over time, to become a comprehensive resource for anyone interested in learning more about forest management in Alberta.
