Millar Western and partners launch wetlands project with Ducks Unlimited
Yep, we do have our ducks in a row! We’re proud to be joining with partners at Ducks Unlimited Canada, Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc., Canfor, Forest Products Association of Canada, Tolko Industries Ltd., West Fraser and Weyerhaeuser on a new initiative to conserve boreal forest wetlands. This innovative collaboration will see us working together on projects that integrate wetland and waterfowl conservation into ongoing forest management planning and field operations. Wetlands provide environmental values like clean water for communities, so it’s not just the ducks who’ll benefit — taking care of our wetlands is a win for everyone. Find more information here.
