Journeyperson Electrician/Instrumentation
Application deadline: February 15, 2026Millar Western’s Whitecourt Pulp Division is seeking a highly motivated Journeyperson Electrician/Instrumentation Mechanic to join the Electrical team in this key role of industrial maintenance. This individual will have experience with high voltage switch gear, transformers, motors and MCC troubleshooting, PLCs, VFDs and control systems. They must be committed to workplace safety and will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of our facility and our PM program. This position may require shift work.
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience as a Journeyperson in a manufacturing setting. Preference will be given to applicants with dual Electrical and Instrumentation certification. Good communication skills, proficiency with the MS office suite and familiarity with SAP are desirable assets.
