Millar Western’s Trev Wakelin to receive Canadian Institute of Forestry Award

The Canadian Institute of Forestry, Rocky Mountain Section, has selected Millar Western Fibre Resources Director Trev Wakelin as the recipient of the 2012 CIF Tree of Life Award. This honour, presented annually, is reserved for individuals who have made superior, dedicated and effective contributions to sustainable management of the forest and its resources. The Tree of Life Award will be presented at an industry event to be held later this spring. Millar Western congratulates Trev on this signal recognition of his many outstanding contributions, made over a career spanning almost 50 years, toward enhancing forest health, advancing the forestry profession and strengthening the forest industry in Alberta.
