Millar Western to host open house, special presentation May 19
pdf/2009-OH news release.pdf In conjunction with the company’s annual forest planning open house, to be held Tuesday, May 19, at the Whitecourt Forest Interpretive Centre, Millar Western will host a special presentation on the state of the forest industry. Joining other local forest companies and guest speaker Parker Hogan of the Alberta Forest Products Association, Millar Western will engage the public in a discussion of the catalysts to crisis in the forest sector, how the industry is responding, why Albertans should care and what’s needed to turn it around.
The open house portion of the evening will take place from 5 to 7 pm, followed by the presentation at 7 pm. Refreshments will be served, and all are welcome. For more details, click the link below.
