Japanese Ambassador visits Millar Western
We were honored to host special guests in Whitecourt on February 14th. His Excellency Norihiro Okuda, Japanese Ambassador to Canada, toured our pulp and lumber operations along with MP Jim Eglinski, Alberta Senior Representative Rob Merrifield, MLA George VanderBurg, Woodlands County Mayor Jim Rennie and Whitecourt Mayor Maryann Chichak. This was an excellent opportunity to discuss markets for Canadian lumber and pulp, and to showcase the advanced technology in our mills and new bioenergy facility, now under construction.
