High wildfire hazard a reminder to play it safe
Dry conditions, warm temperatures and high winds are combining to create a high wildfire hazard in Alberta. Everyone is reminded to be aware of and obey fire bans, operate off-highway vehicles with care, fully extinguish all camp fires, and dispose of cigarettes responsibly — don’t throw them out vehicle windows. And if you detect a fire, call the Alberta government’s toll-free Report-a-Wildfire line — 310-FIRE (3473) — immediately, so that a fire response can be initiated.
