Employees at our Whitecourt sawmill were pleased to host an enthusiastic group of 26 Grade 3 students from Neerlandia School for a special tour on Friday, June 17. The kids (and teachers and parents) were excited to have the opportunity to learn how a sawmill works, and to meet the people who turn logs into lumber for building houses and other structures, chips for pulp to make paper, and residuals to create renewable energy. Thanks to our entire mill leadership team for organizing all those kid-sized helmets and vests, and for taking the time to teach curious young students about our work!
