Entry Level Operator
Application deadline: August 15, 2025Millar Western’s Slave Lake Pulp Division is seeking motivated individuals eager to grow their skills and build a long-term career. This entry-level position is the starting point for joining one of our four Production Teams and plays a key role in supporting safe and efficient mill operations.
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will hold a Grade 12 diploma (or equivalent) and have experience in an industrial environment. This position involves working 12-hour rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. A strong desire to learn and grow is essential to contribute effectively to the team.
Candidates must demonstrate strong safety awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently. Reliability, clear communication, and a positive team mindset are essential. A 4th Class Power Engineering certificate—or progress toward obtaining one—is considered an asset.
