Truckload availability now accessible through Millar Western website
Millar Western today launched a truckload availability feature on its website, enabling contractors to view and express interest in upcoming shipments of Millar Western lumber and pulp. Accessible through the Available Loads selection on the top navigation bar, the new section provides details regarding shipment origin and destination, pick-up dates and preferred truck type. Contractors wishing to bid on or ask questions about a specific load can send an email to logistics staff directly from the website or call using the contact information provided. “The website will be a key tool for communicating with the trucking community,” said Senior Logistics Coordinator Janet Hehr. “Our objective is to establish direct contact with truckers who are interested in working for Millar Western and who share our commitment to safety and reliability.” She added that the website will be updated regularly and urged truckers to visit often for new postings.
Janet also took the opportunity to welcome Mr. Tarek Nouh to the Millar Western logistics team. Previously with United Logistics Association, Tarek has extensive knowledge of the Western Canadian shipping industry and will be working with truckers and other transportation service providers to ensure the timely delivery of Millar Western products to customers around the world.
