Spring road ban lifted

Millar Western’s spring road ban was lifted effective midnight, June 15, 2010.  Millar Western reminds users that forestry roads are to be used under dry or frozen conditions only and that a valid road-use agreement is required to use the roads.  To verify that a road-use agreement is in place or to request one (see options below), please contact Lori Brandt at 780-778-2221, ext. 2163, or e-mail lbrandt@millarwestern.com.

Short-term Road Use Agreement – for short-term use by heavy vehicles (over 3 tons).  Expires 3 months after activation.  Typical users:  drilling/service rigs, water/cement/vacuum trucks, pickers, construction (equipment moves)
Long-term Road Use Agreement – for all vehicle weights throughout the year.  Typically needed for ongoing site maintenance use (e.g. servicing pipelines or power lines)
Special Conditions Road Use Agreement – for any uses that do not fall into the above categories:  e.g. emergency access or access during unfavorable road conditions or road ban periods
