Whitecourt sawmill staff donate to the food bank
Continuing a nine-year tradition, the Whitecourt sawmill’s Maintenance Department forfeited its annual company-funded holiday meal, opting instead to hold a potluck dinner and donate the cost of a catered meal to the Whitecourt Food Bank. This year, the mill’s Administration Office joined in, enabling a total gift of $550. This brings the cumulative value of like donations made over the years to $3,500.
The sawmill Maintenance and Administration staff thanked everyone who helped make this year’s festive potluck another success and wished all a safe, happy and healthy holiday season.
