Process Operator – Whitecourt
Application deadline: September 26, 2025Millar Western’s Whitecourt Pulp Division is seeking a highly motivated Process Operator to join the Production team. This individual will work in all areas of the operation including production lines, Bio Energy plant, water treatment, boilers, pulp warehouse and the control room. They must be committed to workplace safety and will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of our facility and our safety program. This position is a shift position working rotating 12 hour shifts of both days and nights.
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, Standard First Aid certification, prior experience in a manufacturing facility, and a strong safety record. Completion of the required schooling for a 4th Class Steam Ticket is mandatory. A 3rd or 4th Class Steam Ticket, strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with SAP are desirable assets.
