Production Supervisor
Application deadline: October 04, 2024Millar Western’s Quesnel River Pulp Division is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor. Reporting to the Production Manager, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Pulp Mill facility including all aspects of safety, quality, people and production. The successful candidate will maintain the highest standards for safety performance, leading through personal example and employee engagement.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess a 3rd or 4th class Power Engineer certificate as well as several years of progressive leadership in a pulp mill environment. A thorough knowledge of all phases of a BCTMP Pulp Mill including quality control and continuous improvement will be essential for success. In addition to technical knowledge, he or she will exhibit the excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to effectively delegate tasks and to direct, support and motivate others in a team environment.
This position follows a shift schedule – 4 on 4 off, 2 days 2 nights.
