Human Resources Administrator

Millar Western Forest Products Ltd. is seeking a full time Human Resources Administrator to join our Whitecourt Pulp Division. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this individual will be responsible for employee related administrative duties including assisting with payroll and benefits administration; maintenance of physical and electronic records, including staff certification tickets, re-certifications, and training courses; assisting with the disability management program; communications, recruitment and onboarding; and assistance with company event planning.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, well organized, flexible and capable of working professionally with staff and visitors to the site. Working within a team environment, the successful candidate will exhibit a willingness to pitch in where needed in pursuit of company goals and objectives. Excellent communication and computer skills are required. 2+ years experience within Human Resources and/or Business Administration with a focus in human resources is required. Experience with SAP would be an asset.  A Human Resources Management Degree or Certificate is preferred.
