Millar Western is seeking a well-organized, energetic individual with good communications skills and relevant experience to join our pulp and lumber sales administration group on a 24-month contract basis. Reporting to the company’s Director of Logistics and working out of our corporate office in Edmonton, Alberta, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating customer orders, arranging transportation and completing related documentation. This position will involve closely coordinated work within our sales and marketing team, and the development of effective customer service relationships.
The ideal candidate
Applicants will have a minimum of two years’ experience in general office administration and above-average communication and time-management skills, be detail oriented and proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications, and display enthusiasm and initiative. Background in sales administration, transportation and logistics in the forest industry – including experience with letters of credit – would be an asset.
